Another excellent example of the medium suiting the message – this time using watercolours to capture the beauty of the surrounding area and also mirroring the client's own in-house style. A number of visuals for an important client presentation were, you'll be glad to know, completed on budget and on time while the development is currently just awaiting planning permission.
Nothing says 'classic architecture' like a pencil drawing and this was exactly the route we chose to depict the natural outline of this building's classic features. This was presented to the architects so they could get a directional sign-off from the Client for the design before building and planning regulation drawings were submitted to the powers that be.
At Holman it's always Friday (largely because of Nathan's fondness for wearing baseball caps and garish striped shirts in the office) so who better to create a marker visual for their flagship Covent Garden restaurant? Unusually, this focuses on how a proposed redevelopment would improve the exterior of the building. Nevertheless, it still makes us want barbecued ribs and a margarita every time we look at it.
